Mr. Madi Sakandé, President at U-3ARC, is the founder and General Manager of New Cold System srl (Italy) and New Cold System Sarl (Burkina Faso). He is also an Expert Trainer and Assessor for the European certification of refrigeration and air conditioning technicians in F-gas Regulations. Holding a Master’s in Refrigeration, Mr. Sakandé serves as a trainer at Centro Studi Galileo in Italy and is a member of the ATF (Associazione dei Tecnici del Freddo – Italy). He is an international expert and consultant for United Nations agencies (UNIDO, UNDP and UNEP), focusing on projects related to the Montreal Protocol and its Kigali Amendment. Elevated to the rank of Knight of the Order of the Stallion by Burkina Faso’s President in 2018, Mr. Sakandé currently is the President of the Union of Associations of African Actors in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, where he develops capacity building trainings for African technicians in best practices and energy-efficient refrigeration installations. Additionally, he is a member of the Refrigeration Technical Options Committee of the Ozone Secretariat (UNEP RTOC).
