Chandresh Mehta, Director of Rustomjee, set the tone with a keynote address on ‘Leading Smart Infrastructure in Digital India’. He emphasised adaptability and tech leverage for increased efficiency.

Notable sessions included talks on people-centric smart buildings, BACnet’s evolution, and a compelling discussion by Environmentalist Sonam Wangchuk. Andy McMillan, President and Managing Director of BACnet, highlighted ample opportunities such as IoT and open protocol connectivity. Steven Bushby from National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST), remarked, ‘Make sure final standard is extensible’. He stressed the need for scalable design in standards.
