TechMed introduces UV sanitizer unit for split AC

TechMed, a manufacturer of a wide range of ultraviolet (UV) surface and air sanitizing products, has just introduced a revolutionizing product called SplitUV. This thin unit fits into indoor ductless AC units, near the air blower.

UV light eliminates potential biohazards like viruses, bacteria, fungus, and mold, thus reduces respiratory problems with contaminated indoor air quality.

SplitUV comes with 2 UV-C 254 nm compact tubes in IP20 aluminium casing and its electronic driver and mounting accessories. SplitUV is available in 120V and 230V AC options; mounting is simple and takes less than ten minutes. This is ideal for split AC units from 1-tonne to 4-tonne capacity, the company informs.
