The hospitality industry has big hopes for sustainable cooling innovations. Hotels consume more energy per built area than any other real estate asset. When the national capital was on the verge of a power outage a couple of months ago, smart energy management became the need of the hour by CII on account of using 40 percent
recyclable materials in construction.

PCTL Lowproach cooling towers are expected to cause annual energy savings worth 80,000 units and hence reduce the overall carbon footprint of the HVAC plant at the 2 IHCL properties in Delhi and Goa.

The IFC program, funded by the UK Government’s International Climate Finance (ICF), matches innovators worldwide with leading companies in emerging markets to accelerate the adoption of solutions that make cooling more affordable and energy-efficient while mitigating greenhouse gas emissions.
