Munters has received an order from a leading Data Centre collocation provider. The total value of the order, including Munters SyCool Split systems as well as field service work, is approximately MUSD 115 (approximately BSEK 1.1). Deliveries are expected to take place over a period of up to 18 months, starting in the fourth quarter of 2022 through the first quarter of 2024.

Munters SyCool Split is energy efficient, thermo siphon-based dry cooling solutions for data centres. The solution has been developed to minimise the environmental impact of data centres by providing free cooling without the use of water. It was selected after an assessment of the various forms of cooling solutions currently available on the market, considering many attributes, including product quality, energy efficiency, zero water consumption, reliability, scalability, ease of maintenance and service support.
As a result of high demand for data centre cooling solutions, Munters is expanding the dedicated production facility in the US for data centre solutions in 2022. This enables Munters’ continuous development of production processes in order to ensure higher degree of standardisation, modularisation and efficiency.
