Carrier secures exclusive equipment contract with CES

Carrier China has inked a $17 million (RMB 100 million) contract with China Eastern Airlines Investment Co., Ltd. (CES Investment) to supply XCT7 variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems to commercial offices and residential developments across China. CES Investment is a subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines Group Co., Ltd. that focuses on real estate development, asset operation, and capital building project management. The contract is one of Carrier’s largest single VRF contracts ever negotiated, and it marks a new milestone for Carrier China’s Light Commercial division. Carrier China is a subsidiary of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), a major global provider of healthy, safe, and sustainable building and cold chain solutions.

The XCT7 VRF system’s performance exceeds the national Level I energy efficiency standard, with an integrated part load value (IPLV) of up to 10. It can chill and heat quickly, and its minimal interior operation sound is 23 decibels, which is less than a whisper. Furthermore, the XCT7 VRF system is compatible with smart home systems, allowing for remote intelligent control.
