Renowned designers will feature Carrier’s industry-leading solutions to create healthier air and more sustainable and efficient homes.
The “Living by Design” Virtual Showhouse launches today with Carrier as the official Healthy Home sponsor. The first-of-its kind showhouse produced by Embello and national media partner Martha Stewart Living demonstrates what’s new and next in home design, while highlighting the importance of healthy indoor environments. Because creating a healthy indoor environment is as critical to home design as aesthetics, the home features Carrier products that deliver improved indoor air quality for occupants. Consumers and designers can engage with Carrier and other top home brands, with products integrated into each area of the showhouse. Carrier is part of Carrier Global Corporation, the leading global provider of healthy, safe, sustainable and intelligent building and cold chain solutions.
Carrier’s Healthy Homes Program offers a suite of targeted solutions that can help improve the overall health of homes and, in turn, help keep those inside healthy. Carrier’s Healthy Homes products are featured in four showhouse spaces all brought to life by a group of talented and renowned designers. These spaces represent the designers’ unique aesthetics alongside an aspirational vision for homes of the future supported by Carrier’s commitment to healthy and safe indoor environments. Consumers can buy products to incorporate into their own homes via direct path-to-purchase callouts in the showhouse.
- Thermostat – Bobby Berk, known for starring in Queer Eye, designed the entry and mudroom featuring Carrier’s Infinity® System control thermostat, which gives users total control to create their perfect indoor environment across the home.
- Ductless System – Michel Smith Boyd from Buying It Blind created the wellness area and meditation deck to incorporate Carrier’s ductless offerings, which include air conditioner and heat pump products in a variety of shapes and sizes that can support a wide range of spaces with minimal visual impact, while offering flexible, energy efficient performance.
- Smart Air Purifier – Designer and influencer Anne Sage added Carrier’s Smart Air Purifier to the home’s nursery. Available in two sizes, the air purifier can reduce allergens and pollutants by more than 99%.
- Infinity® System – Sabrina Soto, host of The High/Low Project, designed the porch lounge and pool surround to be as comfortable as it is beautiful with Carrier’s Infinity® System, a full range of top-of-the-line heating and cooling products that work together seamlessly to customize a home’s indoor environment for total comfort.
“Carrier is proud to be one of the brands featured in the ‘Living by Design’ Virtual Showhouse. As the experts in creating healthy homes, we’re excited to spotlight our innovative products for consumers and designers looking for products that can positively impact both health and comfort,” said Todd Nolte, Managing Director of Replacement Components and Product Management, Carrier. “We’re always looking ahead, and our solutions can help consumers achieve healthier air and embrace standards for more comfortable, sustainable and efficient homes, now and in the future.”
Brandon Architects, an award-winning architecture firm, designed the structure of the “Living by Design” showhouse home. It is virtually set in picturesque Bedford, New York, the same town in which Martha Stewart’s iconic primary residence is located. YouSee, a leader in 3D visualization, is bringing the virtual showhouse and all of the designers’ creations to life using its advanced visualization technology. In addition to Carrier’s heating and cooling solutions, visitors to the virtual showhouse will see brands and products in an array of home categories, including home organization, artwork, landscape and house plants, fabric, lighting and décor, and both indoor and outdoor furnishings.
