Please elaborate on the Listenlights business activities and verticals.

Listenlights is a premier MEP—GC (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) services provider in the APAC region, delivering cutting-edge solutions. Listenlights is renowned as a pioneer in innovation and offers tailored solutions for diverse sectors. With a proven track record of precision and reliability, the company ensures seamless project execution, emphasising sustainability and client satisfaction.

We service four main verticals: Data Centre, Commercial Corporate Services, Industrial, and Logistics. We are also working towards establishing our footprints for the infrastructure projects for state and central government.

How does your company differentiate from other MEP service providers in the industry?

Our organisation is guided by our corporate philosophy: ‘SOCH’, our foundation of growth. The sole objective of SOCH is to make this world a better place by striving to provide peace, growth and development to everyone by uplifting, supporting and building the capabilities of people and businesses. To achieve this objective, we have established 6 Spiritual Foundations that guide behaviour across the organisation. Consistent behaviour and set processes ensure consistent customer service and experience, regardless of geography.

The construction industry in India is generally not known for following set processes. However, we differentiate ourselves by defining and implementing processes for each of our activities. Everything follows a customer-centric process, from business development to estimation to project management.

As an MEP–GC organisation, we are tech-driven. We use technology as a part of our enablement and empowering tools. We use Salesforce for CRM and Project Management tools. Our customer-facing processes are monitored and governed by a project management life cycle developed with the help of Salesforce.

Can you discuss the services your company offers within MEP projects?

We provide a comprehensive range of services within MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects, including HVAC, HSD, Electrical, ELV, and Fire Protection. Our HVAC services cover all aspects of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, ensuring optimal indoor air quality and climate control.  We focus on high-standard drainage systems in the HSD domain, addressing both efficiency and reliability. Our Fire Protection services are designed to safeguard buildings and occupants through advanced detection, suppression, and alarm systems.

What factors do you consider for the completion of data centre projects?

Our deep understanding of project requirements is vital, as each customer is unique, even if they operate within the same business domain. Our clients are among the world’s largest tech giants, these contracts are very stringent in various aspects.

Our core objective is to deliver premium services to all our clients, which requires close attention to their specific requirements. This includes accommodating their material preferences and specifications, addressing their engineering and design needs, adhering to timelines with intermediate milestones, and meeting their testing and commissioning requirements and protocols. Additionally, we are committed to following the EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) frameworks to ensure sustainable and responsible project execution.

Governed by the six spiritual foundations, we believe in demonstrating the same through our actions. Our team of seasoned and CDCP-certified professionals work towards customising the offerings that suit the customer demands or requirements, thus driving the successful completion of any project.

In what ways is your company contributing to Collocation and Edge DCs?

We have extensive experience serving many of the world’s tech giants directly for their own data centres, which benefits our ability to serve Colos and Edge clients. The ultimate customers of these Data Centres are these tech giants. Understanding their requirements is crucial for Data Centre projects for these clients. Additionally, we need to be highly adaptable during execution to accommodate the changing requirements of these customers, as their needs change based on the ultimate occupant of their Data Centre.

Can you provide insights into project management and quality assurance?

As mentioned previously, our project management is entirely process-driven and tech-enabled. Every stage in the project management life cycle is governed using a tool developed internally on the Salesforce platform. We are the sole users authorised by Salesforce to utilise their platform for project management.

For quality assurance, we adhere to a five-step process. These begin with inspections at the factory before dispatch or upon receipt of materials. Next, we conduct checks upon the completion of installation. We then evaluate the operational aspects of individual equipment. Following this, we monitor the start of equipment operation. Finally, we perform checks during the integrated system operation to ensure everything functions seamlessly.
