The budget 2023-24 focusing on green growth and the renewable energy sector will further spur the realisation of the India Cooling Action Plan.
Industrialisation and urbanisation are happening at an accelerated rate. Hence, the focus on infrastructural development and technological advancement is the impetus for the HVAC industry. As per industry research, the Indian HVAC market is estimated to reach $29,282.7 million by 2030, poised to register a growth of 15.8 percent CAGR between 2021 and 2030.
Along with this, the growth-oriented approach of the various industries, such as EV, pharma, and food industries, to name a few, is giving rise to the demand for quality air solutions. India is recognised as the ‘pharmacy of the world’ with more than 10,500 manufacturing facilities. Similarly, the Indian food industry is one of the largest sectors in the nation in terms of production, growth, consumption, and export. Therefore, industry players are seeking efficient dehumidification solutions across industries.
Here, it is essential to highlight that dehumidifiers are widely accepted across industrial applications. These are huge sectors that consume a lot of energy that puts a lot of burden on the environment. Hence, industry players are constantly on the lookout for solutions and products with the latest technology – that is sustainable, energy-efficient and cost-effective at the same time. We at Pahwa Group carry years of extensive knowledge in dehumidification and quality air solutions. We are on the path of pioneering and changing the dynamics of the industry with our breakthrough Bry-Air and DRI solutions. Keeping in mind the need of the hour, we engineer energy-efficient and cost-effective products. These are successfully helping in bringing down the operational costs and expenses of the various industries.
ICAP plan ushers the path for energy conservation
The India Cooling Action Plan is a comprehensive initiative undertaken by the government to reduce the cooling and refrigeration demand of the country. It is aimed at promoting passive cooling in the building. The plan ushers the energy conservation path and refrains from using synthetic materials in commercial and residential facilities by championing net zero building. The budget 2023- 24 focusing on green growth and the renewable energy sector will further spur the realisation of the India Cooling Action Plan.
In this mission, Green Buildings are crucial for achieving energy efficiency with the help of advanced designs. The designs promote energy optimisation and bode well for ventilation, energy recovery, and humidity control. It ensures the sustainability of the environment and the building and contributes to reducing the carbon footprint. As a responsible company, while offering sustainable solutions, we also strive to make it a part of our practice, for which one of our DRI facilities at Manesar has been recognised as a Platinum Certified Green Factory Building. It conforms to the guidelines of prominent green building certification agencies such as ASSOCHAM, ECBC, LEED, and the Indian Green Building Council.
The plant is entirely net zero, which promotes using renewable energy and resources to reduce the pressure on depleting natural resources. It works on the principles of reducing, reusing, and recycling resources to curtail the wastage of resources and efficiently utilise it for sustainable growth.
New developments that have taken place in Bry-Air
At the rate at which the upgradation of technology is materialising, it is imperative to innovate perennially to cope with the market. Striving to always come up with breakthrough solutions, it has been a while since we have been bringing about the integration of Industry 4.0 in our solutions. Advanced technologies such as AI, AR, robotics, 3D printing, cloud computing, etc., are automating the entire process aimed at minimalistic wastage of resources. The special algorithms exercise efficient control of the systems that streamline energy optimisation aimed at cost-effective and energy-efficient operations. Allowing seamless connectivity of devices enables remote monitoring of HVAC systems.
It promotes smart working with the help of automation that oversees troubleshooting, operating, and monitoring processes without the intervention of humans. We can take the example of IoT, which is giving rise to ‘smart factories’ or ‘smart manufacturing’ by providing access to data and devices for streamlining day-to-day activities and workflows on the shop floor. The various stakeholders can be looped into the same network. This will enable them to keep track of the numerous operations, send notifications, invoice sales orders, monitor inventory and carry out many other processes efficiently. Technologies such as AI, Big Data, Machine Learning, cloud computing, etc., are aiding in making unified information-driven decisions in the factory environment by giving access to real-time data and information.
Make-in-India to push for HVAC equipment manufacturing.
The prospects of the HVAC industry are up-and-coming under the Make-in-India initiative. The robust plans for driving deeper penetration of EVs in the automobile industry are impeding the demand for Li-ion batteries. At the same time, the G20 summit focusing on renewable sources underscores the importance of energy storage systems, which elevate the demand for desiccant dehumidification solutions in the industry.
At the same time, industries digitising their processes owing to technological advancement have led to the emergence of large data centres as mission-critical initiatives. Gauging the threat of Airborne Molecular Contamination to the data centres in the form of electronic device corrosion, installing dehumidifiers along with Gas Phase Filtration Systems is there to protect the facility, which eventually translates to safeguarding the sensitive data against contamination.
Additionally, with India expanding its foothold in the international market on the pharmaceutical front, there is an underlying responsibility on the country to manufacture products of the highest industry standard. It will boost quality dehumidification solutions to prevent revoking substandard drugs and pharmaceutical products from the market. P95x has been specially engineered for the pharmaceutical industry. In addition to providing dehumidification solutions, it has been designed to reduce the cost pressure on the industry with its energy-efficient and cost-effective solutions.
Working on similar lines, our patented BrySmart Series (BBS) Dehumidifiers help stay ahead of the technological curve by optimising energy consumption with the help of real-time automation supported by Industry 4.0.
Innovative range of products at Acrex 2023
We have been participating in ACREX since its inception and have been one of the prominent participants in every edition. This year also, we will be exhibiting our products at the ACREX 23 event to be held in Mumbai from 14-16 March. Previously, we organised Bry-Air Awards at the event. Along with this, under one of our student initiatives BALI – Bry-Air Learning Institute initiative, we have taken students from various parts of the country to visit the ACREX event. This year, we expect to attract the attention of the industry players with our innovative range of product lines providing quality air solutions by deploying the latest technology to be exhibited at booth no. F-28.
Products and HVAC technologies to be displayed
Over the years, we have forayed into catering to varied dehumidification needs across industries. In addition, we are also taking solid strides to strengthen our gas phase filtration systems by providing complete Data Centre Solutions. As we all know, the pandemic impeded the growth of the digital world, consequently contributing to the surge in demand for data centres. Gauging the need to protect the data centres, we provide compact dehumidifiers, gas phase filtration systems, and customised fresh air handling units (AHUs) to maximise the uptime of the facilities. In line with this, we have also developed BryShield, a first-of-its-kind air filtration system for small server rooms. They are sought for multiple applications in MRI rooms, IVF clinics, smoking lounges, etc., for their ability to provide quality air solutions in an energy-efficient way.
Along with this, we will also share our breakthrough concept of an Air Water Generator (AWG) for mitigating the water scarcity problem globally.
