Let’s talk

Buildings to become energy efficient with clean air for occupants

The goals of ICAP are reducing cooling demand, refrigerant demand, and cooling energy requirements by 2037-38.

We are going towards sustainability. Fighting climate change with better energy efficiency and lower consumption is what 2023 will look like for the HVAC industry.

India Cooling Action plan goal is to reduce cooling demand
Goals of ICAP is the reduction of cooling demand, refrigerant demand, and cooling energy requirements by 2037-38. It is a great initiative by the government, but to achieve the goals, we need partnerships between academia and industry.

Clean air and sustainable solutions development at AIRTH
Our mission remains to fight climate change with clean air and sustainable solutions for HVAC industries. We are helping buildings to become energy efficient and provide clean air to occupants. We have made products that make your AHU more efficient with a technology developed at IIT Bombay and IIT Kanpur. We are also working on carbon footprint estimations for big buildings, keeping in mind the ESG goals of the organisations. Clean air is one of the most neglected health hazards in a building that costs employees’ productivity, health & wellness.

Make-in-India to eliminate outsourcing for manufacturing
We have seen the change happening in India, where big manufacturing setups are being set up here for HVACs. Also, due to disruption of the supply chain that occurred with a surge in Covid cases in China made us realise the importance of self-reliance. We are seeking different ways to eliminate outsourcing, which is a good sign for Make in India.

Expectations from Acrex 2023
ACREX 2023 is one of the largest exhibitions in the world on air conditioning, heating, ventilation and intelligent buildings, with participation from more than 40 countries. We expect to see, explore and collaborate on the advancements in technology in the HVAC sector for a better tomorrow.

HVAC technologies to get displayed at Acrex
Expectations are huge with work in various fields, but we all are excited to see new technology for:
• Reduction of cooling demand,
• Reduction in refrigerant demand,
• Reduction in cooling energy requirements.
All these will help us meet our sustainability goals and simultaneously help buildings by reducing costs. We can save on cost and lower carbon emissions with better technology and efficient use of IoT (internet of things) infrastructure.

Monitoring and analysis for real-time decision making
We need to go beyond monitoring. After monitoring, we need to do an analysis and make decisions. We need to work on real-time decision-making as an active measure to eliminate losses and increase efficiency in the HVAC industry. IoT-driven solutions can act in real-time and are the need of the hour.
