SODECA displays real-life experience of a differential pressurisation system

At ISH, SODECA introduced its latest innovations with a full-size cabin that allows them to experience firsthand how, in the event of a fire in a building, SODECA’s pressurisation systems prevent smoke from entering the evacuation routes.

SODECA has taken it a step further by giving visitors the opportunity to test the performance and reliability of the BOXPDS, the pressurisation system that has positioned the company as a leader in overpressure systems and smoke control. In this way, visitors to SODECA’s stand at ISH can enter the cabin and experience how, despite the smoke being directed towards it, the environment remains in perfect condition due to the artificial barrier created by the overpressure.

With this full-size simulation, SODECA aims to practically demonstrate why the BOXPDS has become a pioneering and leading solution in the field of stair pressurisation. This system is test-certified according to the new European standard UNE EN 12101-6:2022 and achieves the maximum air flow in just three seconds, making it the fastest system on the market.

SODECA will be present at ISH until March 21, where, in addition to its pressurisation systems, it will also showcase its solutions in industrial ventilation, smoke exhaust, tunnel ventilation and improved indoor air quality. The company is located at stand E080 in Hall 8 of the Frankfurt Messe.
