HVAC KOREA 2024 attracted over 12,000 visitors and displayed world-class HVAC and plumbing technologies at SETEC from May 22-24, promoting Korean innovation globally with industry and government support.
HVAC KOREA 2024, the premier exhibition for the HVAC and plumbing industries, successfully concluded from May 22nd to 24th at the Seoul Trade Exhibition & Convention (SETEC). The event brought together industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders to showcase innovative technologies and share expertise, with the immense support of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).
Marking the first year of enforcement of the HVAC Act, passed in March 2018, HVAC KOREA 2024 was a significant event that brought notice to the growing importance of the machinery and equipment sector. The sector is poignant because it protects people’s comfort and safety. It provided a platform to support and nurture the domestic HVAC and plumbing market, promote its expansion and development, and reach the global market.
The event was organized by KARSE and MESSE eSang Co., Ltd and hosted by associations such as the Korea Mech. Const. Contractors Association, The Society of Air-conditioning and Refrigerating Engineers of Korea, Korea Association of Air Conditioning Refrigerating and Sanitary Engineers, Korea Association of Registered Mechanical Engineering and Korea Association of Mechanical Systems Professional Engineers. HVAC KOREA 2024 featured a diverse range of exhibitors and participants. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH), and several other influential bodies sponsored the event.
HVAC KOREA 2024 featured wide categories, including HVAC, fire fighting equipment, general equipment, special equipment, materials, energy solutions, sanitary equipment, and specialized fields. This comprehensive exhibition showcased air-conditioning apparatus, ventilation equipment, heat exchangers, refrigeration facilities, heating systems, heat pumps, fire automation equipment, security systems, water treatment technologies, clean room equipment, medical facilities, piping, valves, renewable energy solutions, sanitary ware, and much more.
The three-day exhibition featured conferences from industry professionals who discussed and shared information on HVAC and plumbing advancements. Specialized seminars and networking receptions offered opportunities for learning, collaboration, new technologies, and corporate products.
The event attracted diverse participants, including internal buyers, general contractors, specialized construction companies, architects, design firms, government and private buyers, public institutions, research and educational institutions, hospitals, and various facilities managers.
HVAC KOREA 2024 was a stepping stone for participating companies to leap forward, establishing a foundation for the systematic support and nurturing of the HVAC and plumbing industries in Korea. The subsequent event, ‘HVAC Korea in India’, is scheduled from 21 to 23 November at Yashobhoomi (IICC) to capitalize on the growing influence of the Indian manufacturing boom.
