The winners of the renowned Designplus Award by ISH are revealed! From over 160 entries, 13 outstanding solutions have been selected that combine functionality and aesthetics at the highest level. In addition, the jury had a special mention of an entry that addresses the important topic of barrier-free bathroom design. The festive awards ceremony took place on the first day of the ISH 2025 at the Design Plaza.
The nominated and winning products are on display in an exclusive special exhibition in Hall 5.1 for the entire duration of ISH. With this award, 13 visionary products have been added to the ranks of the Designplus Award winners. Out of 34 selected nominees, 13 winners were skimmed out.
The international response to the competition is reflected in the number of submissions from different countries. They underline the global importance of ISH as the world’s leading trade fair for HVAC and water.
Candidates had the opportunity to submit their forward-looking concepts in six categories:

· HVAC & Sustainability +
· Smart & Control +
· Design & Innovation +
· Young Innovators +
Sustainable Exhibition Stand +
With the category ‘Sustainable Exhibition Stand +’, Messe Frankfurt, as the organiser, is sending a clear signal in favour of sustainability and promoting environmentally conscious trade fair concepts.
In addition, a special mention was given. This honours a submission that addresses the important topic of barrier-free bathroom design. This is a marketing strategy that sets new impulses through creative design and targeted communication. The jury decided to honour this submission because it draws attention to socially relevant challenges and emphasises the importance of accessibility and inclusion in the bathroom sector.
The Designplus Award by ISH honours products that combine innovation, outstanding design, functionality and sustainability. The award is presented in collaboration with Stylepark.
The independent jury, consisting of the renowned industry experts Elke Oechsner (Managing Director of Heizungs-Journal Verlags GmbH), Prof. Amandus Samsøe Sattler (ensømble studio architektur, President DGNB e.V.), Matthias Thiel (Consultant Business Management, Data Management, Demographic Change, ZVSHK – Zentralverband Sanitär Heizung Klima), Jens Wischmann (Managing Director VDS – Vereinigung Deutsche Sanitärwirtschaft e.V. & Managing Director of VdZ – Wirtschaftsvereinigung Gebäude und Energie e.V.) and Stylepark AG (Magazine for Architecture and Design), evaluated the wide range of submissions in a two-stage selection process.
