On December 4, the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) will welcome over 30 C-level executives from regional and international HVACR companies for its second annual conference in Dubai.
AHRI’s focus is on convening HVACR manufacturer leaders to discuss shaping the future of the Industry. The impending event is the central platform for industry stakeholders to explore, collaborate, and influence the direction of HVACR practices and standards in the region. The gathering will discuss aligning the HVACR industry with the MENA region’s regulatory and environmental goals to set the stage for 2025.
AHRI President and CEO Stephen Yurek, AHRI Senior Vice President Henry Hwong of Global Services, and AHRI MENA Managing Director Nabil Shahin will lead the exclusive gathering. It will also include senior representatives from regulatory bodies in the region, the United Nations Climate Change Conference, and other entities working to achieve a sustainable and energy-efficient future.
Stephen Yurek said, “AHRI’s team in MENA was responsive to the input received from the 2023 Convening Leaders event, and we once again value the participation of the region’s most influential stakeholders. There remains much work to be done. I look forward to hearing more about how AHRI can support the sustainability needs of the region at the coming event.”
The agenda will cover global and regional updates on the regulatory landscape, including recent activities by key associations such as the AHRI MENA Regional Technical Committee. There will also be updates on the global environmental and decarbonisation regulatory landscape. It will also focus on COP28/29 and the potential impact these developments may have on the HVACR industry. An executive feedback session will follow, providing insights and recommendations on association strategies with the evolving interests of the industry.
