Trane Technologies’ Thermo King is setting new standards in digital solutions for transport with the development of telematics solutions that provide unit insights and maintenance updates that make it easier for customers to meet sustainability standards. Also, its product Heat King comes with solar features as part of the standard package.

With the industry’s first predictive analytics, Thermo King solutions enable reduced fuel consumption, increased uptime, and boosted fleet profitability. Leveraging TracKing telematics across over 100,000 connected vehicles worldwide, Thermo King’s array of linked solutions supports fleets in maximizing efficiency while securely and effectively transporting valuable cargo.

Starting in 2024, all Thermo King APU, trailer, and large truck products will come equipped with TracKing telematics hardware and a two-year service subscription as part of the standard offering. The 3rd generation TriPac APU from Thermo King marks the initial introduction of telematics within the refrigerated transportation sector. TracKing telematics hardware is already standard in Thermo King’s newest domestic rail container unit, the Advancer S-DRC and on the Heat King® 450 series, the highest capacity transport heater available today.

TracKing Pro telematics utilizes advanced algorithms to estimate fuel consumption electricity usage, and identify chances to enhance operational uptime. TracKing Pro telematics also includes a benchmark analytics dashboard that allows customers to compare fleet energy usage and operations against best-in-class fleets to discover what is possible to achieve.
