MECO Clamp-On TRMS power meter for service engineers

MECO

One of its capabilities is measuring the current drawn by motors and compressors, including features like MAX/MIN/REC in temperature mode to evaluate their efficiency.

The MECO Clamp-On TRMS Power Meter, specifically the Model 3510PHW-AUTO, is an advanced and versatile instrument that utilises microcontroller technology. It offers a wide range of functions, making it an ideal tool for inspectors and service engineers who must perform various tasks such as vigilance
checks, surveys, audits, and routine inspections in industrial and consumer settings.

One of its key capabilities is measuring the current drawn by motors and compressors, including features like MAX/ MIN/REC in temperature mode to evaluate their efficiency. It can also assess the performance of run and start capacitors, allowing for the analysis of temperature data with the help of time stamps. The meter is adept at checking for energised circuits, capturing inrush current readings in motors, identifying peak power demand periods, and conducting electrical audits of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.

Features :
• Check 3P Phase Sequence
• 4 Digit LCD, 9999 Counts, Autoranging
• Data HOLD and Auto Power Off
• Dual Display KW+HP, KW+PF, KW+KVAR, KVA+Ph. Angle, V+A, A+Hz and V+Hz
• Cable of Diameter up to 43mm / Busbarupto 65mm x 16mm.

The measurements can be done without disconnecting the loads and in a very short time interval. The procedure for measurement is Clamping on Busbar, taking Voltage from the same phase it will display (Dual) Parameters including Horse Power (800 HP), Power Factor, Phase Angel, TRMS Current (1000A), AC/DC Voltage (600V), TRUE Power (600KW), Apparent Power (600KVA), Reactive Power (600 KVAR) Resistance (999.9KΩ & 99.99MΩ), Diode, Capacitance, Temperature & Frequency.
