Godrej & Boyce, the primary company of the Godrej Group, has reconfirmed its dedication to sustainability and technological progress by unveiling India’s most energy-efficient refrigerator, known as the ‘Godrej Edge Neo.’ Based on current BEE ratings, this refrigerator consumes a mere 99 units of energy annually, making it the least energy-consuming refrigerator in India. This exceptional efficiency not only leads to substantial savings on electricity bills but also reduces its environmental footprint.

The Godrej Edge Neo is a single-door refrigerator with exceptional energy efficiency through a highly efficient inverter compressor, advanced capillary technology, and cleverly designed airflow systems. The annual electricity cost of running this energy-saving refrigerator is less than that of operating an LED bulb, a fan, or even enjoying a family outing to a multiplex. Customers stand to save up to Rs. 1101 annually, translating to an estimated total savings of Rs. 11,000 over a decade. Furthermore, this refrigerator contributes significantly to environmental conservation by reducing up to 1000kg of CO2 emissions compared to a 1-star refrigerator, equivalent to preserving approximately 64 trees over ten years.

The brand has 20 SKUs with a 5-star energy rating, offering superior energy efficiency.
