Lloyd, a consumer durables brand from Havells India, plans to increase air conditioner manufacturing capacity at Ghiloth and Sricity locations to 15 lakh units per year, up from 9 lakh and 11.2 lakh units respectively, to meet increased demand. The total projected expenditure for the aforesaid capacity increases will be between INR 50 and 60 crore. The same will be funded by internal accruals, and completion is planned in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025.
Lloyd has introduced its first designer air conditioner range, Rapid Cool Technology refrigerators, Novante Fully Automatic Washing Machines, and expanded its Google QLED TV lineup with 85-inch and 100-inch models, as well as advanced far-field technology for its latest models.
