DP World introduces high-tech warehousing operations in Goa 

DP World has started warehousing operations in Loutulim, Goa. The new facility incorporates numerous safety elements, such as a separate pump room, improved fire sprinklers, rockwool insulation on the roof, and bubble wrap insulation on the sidewalls.

DP World, a major global provider of innovative, end-to-end supply chain solutions, has begun warehousing operations in Loutulim, Goa. The Grade-A warehouse is located 31 kilometres from Mormugaon Port, 23 kilometres from Dabolim Airport, and 25 kilometres from Panjim City. It meets all safety regulations and has easy access to the Goa-Bangalore-Pune route. The facility is fully compliant for storing and handling chemicals and healthcare cargo.

With three working docks and 2620 pallet spaces, the 27,512-square-foot facility is fully suited to handle and store chemical items. The new facility has extensive safety features throughout, including a separate pump room, advanced fire sprinklers, Rockwool insulation on the roof, and bubble wrap insulation on the sidewalls. To maintain air quality and staff well-being, the facility has six air changes per hour and a dedicated Resident Safety Officer on campus who implements and monitors Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) compliance.

This facility expands DP World’s warehouse network in India, which now totals over five million square feet and is strategically scattered over more than 60 locations. The Grade A warehouse in Loutulim will benefit Goa’s chemical goods traders by offering customisable storage solutions, hygienic storage conditions, facility design and development, secondary distribution services, and complete shipment visibility through reports and documentation such as a stock availability dashboard. Customers will also benefit from DP World’s integrated logistics solutions, which help optimise their supply chain for optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness in Goa and beyond.
