Laars Heating Systems acquires Electro Industries

Laars® Heating Systems, a leading U.S. manufacturer, has acquired Electro Industries, expanding its portfolio with high-quality electric heating solutions. This strategic move aligns with evolving electrification policies across North America.

Laars® Heating Systems, a subsidiary of Bradford White Corporation and a prominent U.S. designer and manufacturer specializing in boilers, water heaters, and pool heaters for residential, commercial, and industrial use, has recently completed the acquisition of Electro Industries, Inc., headquartered in Monticello, Minnesota. Electro Industries is recognized for its production of electric boilers, air-to-water heat pump technology, electric duct heaters, and controls.

Bruce Carnevale, President and CEO of Bradford White Corporation, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, emphasizing Electro Industries’ track record in delivering high-quality electric space heating solutions since its establishment in 1974. Carnevale welcomed Electro Industries’ employees into the Bradford White family and looked forward to integrating their reputable products into the Bradford White portfolio.

This strategic move is poised to broaden Laars’ range of residential, commercial, and industrial space heating solutions, aligning with the company’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of customers in response to changing electrification policies and regulations across North America.

The acquisition encompasses all of Electro Industries’ assets, including its facility in Monticello, contributing to the expansion of Laars Heating Systems’ U.S. manufacturing footprint. Electro Industries will now operate as a division within Laars Heating Systems, a subsidiary of Bradford White Corporation.
