What is your response to the Hall of Fame Award awarded to KEHEMS Technology?

What are the key features and benefits of Kehems Technology’s water-cooled and air-cooled screw chillers, and how do they differ?
Mr. Deepak Khemekar established Kehems Technology and specialised in manufacturing water-cooled and air-cooled screw chillers in the range of 30 TR to 650 TR, both HRS-certified. The company also produces screw heat pumps from 100 kilowatts to 2000 kilowatts, slab chillers from 3.5 tonnes to 103 tonnes, and air-to-water heat pumps in the range of 3.5 kilowatts to 270 kilowatts with outlet water temperatures varying from 55 to 65 degrees Celsius, all while adhering to consultant and contractor specifications and standards. Kehems is ISO-certified and BEE-accredited.

Kehems Technology strongly emphasises utilising the most suitable components for its products. By doing so, the company achieves optimal kilowatt per ton (IKW) ratios, as well as improved National Part Load Value (NPLV), Integrated Part Load Value (IPLV), and Coefficient of Performance (COP) values.

To ensure that its products meet the highest standards of quality, Kehems Technology sources its components exclusively from Europe, where the highest quality standards are maintained. Furthermore, the company’s machines are designed to meet the unique requirements of India, including factors such as water quality, ambient temperature, labour conditions, and electrical conditions.

Kehems Technology has a sales and service force of 35 and 54 engineers, respectively, and 50 operators. An additional 50 non-technical team members stay up-to-date on market trends and customer requirements. Our sales force communicates with consultants, contractors, architects, builders, and end customers to understand their needs, which helps inform our product design and upgrades. ISHRAE also plays a key role in product innovation, keeping us informed on market trends and demands, which we analyse and incorporate into our updates.

What steps is Kehems Technology taking to address the issue of energy inefficiency in outdated HVAC systems?
Nowadays, one of the most significant challenges the HVAC industry faces concerns the outdated systems installed in some properties, which consume excessive amounts of electricity. In response, Kehems Technology focuses on retrofit projects that involve replacing these old machines with new, energy-efficient ones.

Kehems Technology aims to create a more sustainable environment and align with the vision set forth by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). While the company currently serves the Indian market, it aims to extend its expertise to other regions, enabling more people to benefit from its high-quality HVAC products.

As a result, consultants, contractors, and end customers are conducting extensive research before investing in any equipment from manufacturers.
