Hitachi introduces the airHome series of fixed-speed split air conditioners

The company has infused its new iconic wave design into the indoor unit, outdoor unit, and even the remote of Senpai ACs, setting the highest design standards in air conditioning for living spaces.

Inspired by Japanese Shiro Design that outlasts seasons through centuries, Hitachi presents ‘Senpai’, its new Fixed Speed Split Air Conditioners range. In its endeavour to bring ultimate comfort to Indian homes, the air-conditioner brand ‘Hitachi Cooling & Heating India’ introduced the award-winning airHome series of Fixed Speed Split ACs. This new model is the winner of the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2022. The Red Dot Design Award is a German international design award for a product, brand, and communication designs and concepts. Designed to meet consumers’ air conditioning aesthetic and utility needs, these new models are the epitome of innovation and are power-packed with advanced features.

Setting the highest design standards in air conditioning for living spaces, the company has infused its new iconic wave design into the indoor unit, outdoor unit, and even  the remote of Senpai ACs. The new stunning ‘iconic wave design’ takes its inspiration from the naturally existing waveform. Designed to stay young forever, the indoor unit is of white star colour and has a UV paint coating that repels dust and preserves the white colour for longer. The super exciting range of Senpai air conditioners boasts of Ambience Light, Surround Cooling (long air throw of 24 meters), five fan speed for convenient cooling, My Mode function for personalized cooling, WaveBlade Design technology for silent air, Auto Coil Dry technology for odour free air, detachable front panel for ease of access to clean AC filter, along with a plethora of other stunning features.  This aesthetically appealing product is bigger, better, and bolder with a 1050 mm unit that translates to more airflow and better cooling.

First time in Fixed Speed Air Conditioners, the brand has added Hitachi’s path-breaking Ambience light feature in this product range. The mesmerizing immersive display on the AC is created with the highest level of craftsmanship. With Hitachi’s first-ever Ambience Light ACs, consumers can quickly know their ambience, whether cold, comfortable or warm. Ambience light allows consumers to tune in with their desired temperature perfectly and comfortably. This feature has three colours – cool blue for a cool ambience (16- 23°c), comfort green for comfort ambience (24-27°c), and warm red for a warm ambience (28- 32°c). Ambience light helps the customer understand their room’s environment and control ACs temperature as per their comfort more effectively. The 24m strong airflow distributes air across the room for superior surround cooling of modern homes. Surpassing the quality standards, the Senpai air conditioner range has passed 43 quality tests to ensure the best quality for Indian consumers.

By preventing various causes of AC odour and maintaining uninterrupted airflow, the unique auto-dry technology aims to meet the utmost hygiene demand of Indian living spaces. A design marvel in itself, Senpai AC’s remote control is power packed with a new iconic wave design, coloured buttons with a night glow feature, an operating radius of 12 meters, and other new features. My mode feature in the remote control allows the user to save the combination of3 of their favourite personalized settings (operation mode, set temperature, fan speed) to recreate the preferred climate in just one touch. One can set the temperature by 0.5°C increments for more precise comfort.
