Bio X Cell achieves Environmental Impact Reduction of 80%

Cold Chain Technologies, LLC a leading global provider of thermal packaging solutions for the transportation of temperature-sensitive products for the life sciences industry, announced today that its client, Bio X Cell, has saved over 71,000 pounds of waste from a landfill using a CCT TRUEtemp Naturals® shipping solution.

Bio X Cell, a Lebanon, NH-based company, replaced its expanded polystyrene (EPS) shipping container with a CCT TRUEtemp Naturals® curb side recyclable and repulpable shipper. The company is devoted to supporting scientists in their research while limiting environmental impact.  EPS doesn’t break down in a landfill and has many recycling constraints.  Their new TRUEtemp Naturals® solution is a thermally stable, beautifully designed, curbside recyclable shipper that reduces its environmental impact by 80 percent.
