- Eliminates the need for Additional DDC Controllers: ZECO Smart AHUs have advanced controller data which is compatible for viewing on third-party building management systems (BMS). The microprocessor based controller with on-board Bacnet Modbus protocol based BMS connectivity on each Smart AHU eliminates the need for additional DDC controllers to be provisioned separately by the BMS solutions provider and without use of additional sensors to be fixed / installed separately through external devices.
- Inbuilt Pressure Independent Control Valves (Optional): The units have factory-fitted pressure independent control valves (optional) to ensure precise controls that deliver additional energy savings from other parts of the air handling system such as chillers, pumps, etc. Valve control to be possible via integrated control signal based on feedback from temperature sensors of Supply Air or Return Air as per logic defined (Optional).
- Comprehensive in-built instrumentation: There is comprehensive in-built instrumentation to sense air temperature, water temperature, filter pressure drop etc. Unlike standard AHUs, these don’t need to be fitted as aftermarket parts.
- In-built Electrical Starter Panels: ZECO Smart AHUs have electrical starter panels with an auto-manual switch fitted inside each unit, unlike standard AHUs in which separate installation is required.
- Touch Screen Displays (HMI display) as an optional Feature: Fitted with 7-inch touch screen panel displays are optional with microprocessor controllers that provide instant real-time status of EC fans, chilled water valves (Optional), airflow, power consumption, chilled water in/ out temperature (Optional) etc. The controller also maintains the history of these that can then be cast into trend charts of Smart AHUs operations over a period of time to monitor measure and align programs for maximum operational efficiency.
