Kool-Ex Cold Chain Ltd roped in for transportation of Covid vaccines in India

Kool-ex Cold Chain Ltd transporter has been roped in by Serum Institute to transport Covid vaccines throughout India. In the first phase, around 2.20 crore Covishield vaccines manufactured by Serum Institute of India will be transported.

Kunal Agrawal, the owner-director of Kool-ex that he is overwhelmed that his company has been shortlisted by all Covid vaccine pharmaceuticals in India. Six air-conditioned container trucks will be going to Serum Institute wherein vaccine boxes will be loaded in these container trucks and is the consignment is likely to be flagged soon.

Each of these container trucks will be carrying 280 to 300 Covid vaccine boxes. Each box will have 1.20 lakh Covishield doses. Every vehicle will be escorted by an armed police vehicle till it reaches the destination. The vaccine manufactured by the Serum Institute vaccine will be going Karnal, Jhansi, Daman Silvasa, Surat, Vadodara, Gandhinagar, Rajkot, and two trucks will go to Pune Airport.

Surprisingly when the transport fleet is gearing up to transport the Covishield vaccine, the Pune-based vaccine Manufacturer is still waiting for a purchase order from the Government of India. Kool-ex has a fleet of 400 such air-conditioned temperature-controlled and GPS fitted trucks throughout India.

Kool-ex is owned and managed by Rahul and Kunal Agrawal. Kunal said their company was established way back in 1946 by their father and for the last 25 years Kool-ex has expertised in transporting pharmaceutical medicine products throughout India up to Nepal. In the last 10 months, Kool-ex has also delivered different Covid testament medicines by different pharmaceutical companies.
